Products I Love!!..so far

Okayy So I am officially a product junky. I want to try it all.  Some of you who are on an organic kick such as I may know that it can be sometimes very pricey. So I have set out to try the expensive ones, and the not so expensive ones. And honestly, the cheapy ones are winning me over.

Product #1 Kinky Curly Shampoo-Conditioner-Custard.. Okayy startin with the shampoo, its about 12 dollars for an 8oz. bottle annnd I didnt really care for it, it worked like any other clarifying shampoo it wasnt particularly moisturizing so ehhh not crazy about it. As far as the conditioner paired with the Custard I LOVED. My hair felt very moisturized after using just the conditioner and the custard made my very big loose curls look like perfectly little tendrils. The only downer is the price. an 8 oz custard is 16.99 :/ yahhh. i know.

Product #2 Kiss my face Miss Treated Shampoo and Conditioner.. Okay so in comparison to the Kinky Curly this stuff is significantly cheaper and you are still getting great quality organic hair care.! The 11 oz. bottles are 7.99 and I honestly liked this poo and conditioner BETTER! Its also easier to find in retail stores. And the best part is it smells great! I mean talk about aromatherapy. :)

Product #3 Suave Professionals Almond and Shea Butter.. Okay Last but not least we have the Suave. It is not all natural but every once in a while i like to use a sulfate shampoo plus there are still not very many if any harmful ingredients. First thing I loved about this product is that it was cheeeaaap! You can get the huge bottles at walmart for 2 dollars. I used it after wearing my hair up all week and had quite a bit of product build up. This shampoo OMG it cleansed my hair perfectly without stripping it. My hair felt softer than usual even before I conditioned, and then I conditioned left it on for about 5 minutes while i finished my shower and rinsed it at the end. My hair felt awesome. I immediately noticed how silkly and soft it was, no frizz when it dried at all, even on the second day. Thumbs up Suave.

Black Soap!

I recently purchased nubian heritage african black soap. I have always had acne prone skin with dark spots and was forced to conceal it with make up. This soap has changed all of that for me within 2weeks of using it! I really never get my hopes out because believe it or not I have probably tried every soap or acne product out there. And lately I’ve been on this all natural ingredients kick and stumbled across this soap in whole foods for 2.99. Worth every cent! Please please try it.! I highly reccomend it. Even if you dont have sensitive skin. You will love what it does for you.
Whats in it: in case you were woindering African Black Soap Base, Coconut Oil, Shea Butter, Oat kernel meal, Aloe Leaf Juice, Plaintain Extract, Vitamin E, Vegetable glycerin, And Essential Oil Blend.
P.s. If you have any suggestions or soaps that may have worked for you pleace share! I love testing new products.!

Going Natural!

Hello world! This is my very first blog entry and I’m not too sure how this goes. So let me start by saying Hello &; Welcome! :) I recently started my ‘going natural’ journey. Some may say I was always natural because my hair wasn’t permed. But it’s a little more complicated than that. My hair is always dried out and I just make it worse with the whole straightening, because every curly girl wants straight hair. Welp I’m throwing out the flat irons, and the alcohol based shampoos, and I’m doing my hair some good. My first product purchase was Rosemary Mint Shampoo and Conditioner by BioInfusions. I got it at Walgreens for 7.99 so a little pricey but I would say it was worth it. It definitely did what it said it would do. The smell and tingle is ABSOLUTELY REFRESHING! I washed my hair on friday, it is now tuesday and my scalp hasn’t felt too dry or too oily, no itching. It’s Great. So far, so good.! I will keep you all posted with Before and After Pictures etc. Because I want you to join me on my journey, to a healthier, naturally beautiful me. Peace. :)
